Summer in Oahu: Less Traffic, More Fun

& a Giveaway! 🎉

It’s officially summer in Oahu—no school, less traffic… but wait, is that why there was traffic in the middle of the afternoon in town?! 🤔

Also, does anyone else remember when summer used to be three months instead of two? I swear we had way more time to be wild and free! But honestly, I’m not complaining—my kids are off visiting their dad on the mainland, which means I’m kid-free for the summer.

At first, I’m excited—no mess, no noise, no sticky boy smell. But give it a week, and suddenly I miss the chaos. 😂

Before they left, we did our monthly family fun day at the NEW Dave & Buster’s in Ala Moana! If you haven’t been yet, it’s worth checking out—new games, and yes, the human claw machine is real! We went on a Wednesday (because thankfully, they still offer half-off games). Pro tip: Drop $100 on tokens on a Wednesday, and the kids will play for 1.5 hours. Go on a regular day? They’ll be done in 30 minutes flat. 😅
